Today the team at DICE publicly launched their mobile ticketing app, and we are proud to announce our role in leading the funding round.

DICE’s mission is simple: to enable music fans to easily discover and book tickets for gigs via an elegant mobile app with No Booking Fees.

DICE has built a fantastic team that includes the talents of product studio ustwo and has the financial backing of major artist managers, agents and promoters, as well as experienced entrepreneurs including the founders of DeepMind and TopTable alongside White Star Capital.

Phil, DICE’s CEO, has a rich history in the music industry and has set out to solve a long-held frustration (and that of the acts he represented) at the markup fees that the leading ticketing sites charged their fans. In Phil’s own words:

“We have an amazing opportunity with mobile to make discovering great gigs and purchasing tickets easy. We’ve created a business model that allows us to remove all fees and also heavily invest in editorial to get fans filling venues. Partnering with White Star has given us access to brilliant people, ideas and technology and I love the long chats with Christian, John and their team since they provide a whole new perspective. They’re part of our gang in making DICE great.”

DICE has leveraged the award-winning design and development talent of ustwo to develop a beautiful, elegant app that is powered by a deep analytical engine and a renowned curation team to help bring music back to the fans with No Booking Fees.

DICE is a curated offering starting with over a hundred gigs in London – home to the largest concentration of creative musical talent and many top recording artists.

You can now download the app from the AppStore and Google Play and try it yourself.
